PeopleSoft HCM Techical Position
 
Role &Responsibilities:
Ø  The primary purpose ofthis position is to manage and maintain the PeopleSoft HCM ApplicationsSystems.
Ø  The position focuseson PeopleSoft HCM Applications 8.x or 9.x  Applications, including Core HR, Benefits Admin, eBenefits, Manager Desk Top, Global Payroll, Candidate Gateway, eCompensation, ePerformance, ePay, eProfile, eProfile Manager Desktop,eDevelopment, eComp Manager, Time & Labor, ESS, Absence Management  modules.
Ø  Diagnose and resolvePeopleSoft related issues to ensure the accuracy of business systems. Interact with business system users in this effort.
Ø  Participate in development of system test plans and acceptance criteria.
Ø  Provide PeopleSoft Application Managed  services by acting as Technical Analyst inPeopleSoft HCM  Modules troubleshoot issues and assist in stabilizing the applications during & post go-live phase.
Ø  Clear, effective and pro-active communication with the PM, Team Members and Client Business Users.
Ø  Work with the client business users to identify possible improvements in the Customized Objects /Process.

Experience &Skills:
Ø  4+ years of Technical OR Techno-Functional hands-on experience as a consultant or analyst workingwith PeopleSoft HCM 8.x or 9.x Applications, including Core HR, Benefits Admin, eBenefits, Manager Desk Top, NA Payroll, CandidateGateway, eCompensation, ePerformance, ePay, eProfile, eProfile Manager Desktop,eDevelopment, eComp Manager, Time & Labor, ESS, Absence Management  modules,  experience with designing and maintaining interfaces to external systems and vendors;
Ø  Should have Hands-On experience in minimum of5 modules in the following list: PeopleSoft HCM ModulesCoreHR, Benefits Admin, eBenefits, ManagerDesk Top, NA Payroll, Candidate Gateway, eCompensation, ePerformance, ePay,eProfile, eProfile Manager Desktop, eDevelopment, eComp Manager, Time &Labor, ESS, Absence Management  modules. .
Ø  A strong understanding of standard development methodologies (Systems Development Life-cycle) in both maintenance and implementation organizations;
Ø  Strong skills in gathering and documenting business requirements for systems enhancements, performing fit/gap analysis, and writing functional or technical specifications based on requirements;
Ø  Proven skills in quality assurance, including creation of testing scripts and test execution;
Ø  Hands-On experiencein  PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, Crystal reports, Java and HTML.
Ø  Nice to have experience in PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal and Java Script.
Ø  Preference will begiven to candidates with the above experience in a manufacturing and Retail industry environment.
Ø  The candidate should be open for relocation to either Bangalore OR Hyderabad.
Ø  This is a client facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers and business end-users.
Ø  This position requires strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated initiative and flexibility to meet deadlines and end user expectations.
Ø  The selected candidate should have excellent communication skills including written and verbal

Ø  Should be willing towork hands-on and IC (Independent Contributor) role.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Your primary task will be to provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means). Able to work with general guidance from senior support engineers and management and, in some areas, may work independently. Solutions often take time to develop through research, collaboration or problem replication.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. One year prior working experience with Oracle products (or at least two years related experience without Oracle products) and technical degree i.e., BS Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/ Engineering/Math/Physics/Chemistry with a 3.0 GPA OR functional degree + technical higher degree or in lieu of degree may substitute 4 years professional experience and professional certification (i.e., CNE, MCSE, CPA, Oracle, etc.).
